We decided to drink the future–and to the future–when GE’s CMO Beth Comstock dropped by my house the other night. Our goal: to take the classic martini and shake things up with amazing Trend twists on the familiar.

On the menu:

Cosmo No Martini: This fresh take on the Sex & The City classic and a nod to our EVEolution trend (women's thinking is shaking up culture and business)
Fireball Martini:  A fiery treat that reminded us of our favorite childhood candies, this cocktail embodies our Down Aging trend (consumers seeking comfort in nostalgia)
Mocha Martini: An ultra-indulgent mix of chocolate and espresso vodka channels our Pleasure Revenge trend (consumers cutting loose and indulging) in drink form
Pear-Thyme Martini: Our Being Alive trend (awareness that good health leads to longevity) has never tasted better! The herbal infusion delivers a immune boost
The Down and Dirty Martini: This old-school sip with extra olives puts our Anchoring trend (reaching back to our roots) into action
I loved the cool drinks and the smart conversation with Beth and my other brilliant guests. Might have to make this a regular gathering.

Here are the recipes to try for yourself. Cheers!
